I'm back

I'm back.

I know I said that I would update maybe once or twice a week but I get the feeling that I will be doing it a lot more frequently. I am freezing my butt off today and I am really bored. Watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 while listening to music and reading a Harry Potter fan fiction called Bree's Hogwarts Experience on a website called www.fanfiction.net and I must say that the fan fic is very good. Another that is very enjoyable is called The Severus Snape Fan Club, also on the same website although I did post it up on www.figment.com because I wanted to share it with everybody.

So I have some news, my younger sister has gotten a job at the hotel up the road from where we live which is excellent. I am currently filling out an application form to the same hotel, only its for a different position. I really need the money. Then again, who doesn't need money?

My brother is now at high school which makes me feel old even though I'm really not that old at all. My sister is in sixth form at high school, although she is unsure if she will do her seventh form. Time will only tell, I guess.

So Les Miserables is out in theatres and has been for a couple of weeks. I have been longing to go and see it but I might just wait until it comes out on DVD and just buy it myself rather than waste $20 bucks on a ticket. I feel so much more comfortable watching a movie at home. That way I have an unlimited access to food without having to pay for it.

Last night I had trouble sleeping because I had so much stuff on my mind. One of those things being a three course meal. Starter: Mushroom Risotto, Main Course: Lamb with roast/mash potatoes, carrots and a red wine sauce, Desert: Apple Crumble with ground almonds and chocolate ice cream and whipped cream. All in all it sounds delicious, strangely enough I thought about the drink to go with it too and that just so happened to be a Pina Colada although I'm not sure how well that would work. I've had a non-alcoholic Pina Colada before and it tastes quite good.

As for my other thoughts, well I can hardly remember them now. Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter. I mean if they were important then they would return.

Just one more thing to mention before I sign off now and that is how much I loathe Delores Umbridge from the Ministry of Magic in Harry Potter, she annoys me to no end. Leave a comment and let me know who your least favourite character is from the Harry Potter Series. Anyways TTFN.

Ciao,
Claudia

Hello

Hello,

Thoughts of a girl. That girl is me, I have so much on my mind recently and I find the best way to get rid of them and sleep better at night is to write them down. So here I am, writing down my thoughts for the whole world to see.

Recently I thought, 'I wonder if you can eat Weet-Bix with a fork'. I haven't tried it yet but I am going to assume that you can so long as it's not too soggy. For those of you that don't know, Weet-Bix is a wheat breakfast cereal that is popular here in New Zealand and (I think) Australia. You can eat in any way you want, with cold milk and sugar/fruit, hot water and sugar or hot milk and sugar. It is very nice and quite filling.

I usually have other random thoughts that run through my head, honestly it's like watching a headless chicken run around. I guess in some ways it's quite funny. I think I heard somewhere that you have a thousand thoughts per minute run through your head, however I'm not sure about the time on that fact. I can never remember the amount of things like that.

Sometimes I wonder why there is so much drama and violence around the world, but it also occurs to me that the human race is rather destructive. Hardly anything positive on the news these days.

Back to the breakfast thing. The company that makes Weet-Bix also makes my favourite savoury spread called Marmite. It's so much nicer than its Australian counter-part Vegemite. I used to have it on toast for breakfast every morning and occasionally on crackers with margerine. However the factory that makes the spread is located in Christchurch and I haven't had Marmite in about three years or so due to the fact that Christchurch has had so many earthquakes, major and minor which prevents the factory from getting back up and running when they expected it to. It is rather disappointing for me as I no longer have my favourite spread. The Marmite in New Zealand is different in taste compared to the British stuff, I should know as we have a jar of the British stuff in the cupboard. If I remember correctly it is called Our Mate.

I should be going now but I will update at least once a week, twice a week if you're lucky. Anyways TTYL.

Ciao,
Claudia
